Marie Annette Bartley

Marie Annette Bartley, 69, of Adams Park Road, Leesville, S.C., went home to the Lord in spirit on Sunday.

A native of Florida, she was born May 2, 1942, to the late Eva Cook and Hubert Shaw. She was the wife of the late Marshall William Bartley Jr.

She was a charter member of the Still Waters Baptist Church. She was a retired nurse from Midland Center in Columbia, S.C.

Her survivors include seven children, Judi (Jerry) Tindall, Jeanie (Mitch) Griffin, Debbie (Harry) Nix, Mary (David) New and Vickie (Larry) Bluff, all of Aiken, S.C., Jimmy (Brenda) Turner of Evans City and Teresa (Marvin) Caughman of Batesburg, S.C.; three brothers, Hubert “Bucky” Shaw of North Augusta, S.C., Carlton Shaw of Barnwell, S.C., and Dennis Shaw of Lexington, S.C.; two sisters, Jennetta Holley of West Columbia, S.C., and Sharon Rowe of Gilbert, S.C.; sixteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

<B>BARTLEY</B> — A memorial service for Marie Annette Bartley, who passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Still Waters Baptist Church, 374 Delmar Road, Leesville, S.C., with the Rev. James Watterson officiating. The family will receive friends, in celebration of her life, at the Still Waters Baptist Church one hour before the memorial service.Memorial contributions may be sent to the Still Waters Baptist Church, 374 Delmar Road, Leesville, SC 29070.
