The field is set for the four-team Penn State University Athletic Conference double-elimination baseball championship tournament next week at Pullman Park.

Action begins April 26 as No. 2 seed PSU-Beaver (16-15, 10-2) faces No. 3 seed Penn College (16-9, 9-3) at 1:30 p.m. Top-seeded PSU-Greater Allegheny (24-10, 11-1) plays No. 4 seed PSU-Mont Alto (9-8, 7-5) at 7 p.m.

The two losing teams meet each other at 11 a.m. April 27. The two winning teams from April 26 meet at 1:30 p.m. April 27. A second elimination game follows at 4 p.m.

The championship game is set for noon April 28.

Summitt steps down as Lady Vols coachPat Summitt ended a career in which she won more games than anyone in NCAA college basketball history, stepping down Wednesday as coach of the Tennessee Lady Vols less than eight months after revealing she had early onset dementia.Longtime assistant Holly Warlick will take over for Summitt, who will become head coach emeritus.Summitt's career ends with a 1,098-208 record and 16 regular-season Southeastern Conference championships.

Superior Court for about $650,000.The NFLPA's complaint says it loaned the coaches' group that amount “to cover payroll and other NFLCA expenses.”
