Slippery Rock's Skeele wins singing competition

GREENVILLE — Lena Skeele of Slippery Rock was the winner of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra Rising Star Singing Competition, placing first in her age category.
As part of her awards package, Lena will perform with the symphony in the fall and will perform at Kennywood this summer.
Lena is a ninth grader and attends Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School in Beaver County.
