Janet L. Donnel, 71, of Butler passed away at 6:17 a.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born May 30, 1940, in Butler, to the late Anthony “Spux” DiBiccaro and Annabelle Ekis DiBiccaro.

Janet was a 1958 graduate of Butler High School. She worked over the years for Penreco and Gumout, and she was also a homemaker.

Janet enjoyed genealogy and the computer and was on her class reunion committee. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially spoiling her grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her husband, William E. Donnel, who she married on Oct. 8, 1959; two daughters, Rhonda and her husband, Gary Monks Jr., and Rene and Daniel Saeler, both of Butler; six grandchildren, Braden, Blane and Brice Saeler and Sarah, Nathaniel and Andrew Monks; one sister, Lucy Kline of Arizona; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

DONNEL — Friends of Janet L. Donnel, who passed away Monday, April 2, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the

Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. J. David Panther of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
