Barbara Joan Diehl, 59, of Silver Oaks Nursing Center, New Castle, died early Easter Sunday morning at her home.

She was born in Butler, on April 3, 1953, a daughter of the late Richard K. Diehl and Dorothy Stevenson Diehl.

As a child, Barbara attended the St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Butler.

She is survived by a brother, Charles W. Diehl and his wife, Julee, of Butler; one sister, Claudia Trusel and her husband, Barry, of Butler; two nieces; and six nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
