Lawrence L. Bloom

Lawrence L. Bloom, 84, of Butler passed away Thursday evening at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Butler.

He was born July 14, 1927, in Butler, and was the son of the late Andrew and Hazel Wick Bloom.

He was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Butler. He was retired from Pullman Standard. Mr. Bloom enjoyed his farm, horses and John Deere tractors.

He is survived by his wife, Laura V. Holt Bloom, who he married Aug. 22, 1945; his children, Carol (Bill) Feazell of Butler, Len (Kathy) Bloom of Saxonburg and Tricia (Gary) Zinkhann of Butler; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

BLOOM — The family of Lawrence L. Bloom, who died Thursday, April 12, 2012, had services in the St. John’s Reformed Church with his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Robert Peterson, officiating.
