Carol L. Pegher Meyer, 71, of Fombell, formerly of North Hills, passed away Monday while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born Oct. 14, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Hilda (Schlimmer) Bachman.

Mrs. Meyer was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Middle Lancaster. She enjoyed bird-watching, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and being a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Meyer, who she married March 3, 1990; her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra L. and Craig Schomaker of Portersville; her son, Robert W. Pegher of Melbourne, Fla.; her brother, Jack (Joyce) Bachman of Gibsonia; two grandsons, Jeffrey and Jason Schomaker; and her great-grandson, Jaxson Schomaker.
