Diane Critchlow

Diane S. Critchlow, 74, of Butler passed away at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born March 14, 1938, in Butler, to Mildred Shaffer Stepp Albert and the late Clarence Stepp.

Diane was a retail sales associate at J.C. Penney in Butler. She was a beloved mother, sister, aunt, daughter and grandmother. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crossword puzzles and she was active all her life with her church. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Butler, where she was also a Sunday school teacher.

Diane is survived by three sons, Paul D. Critchlow and Douglas Critchlow, both of Butler, and Keith Critchlow of New Castle; one daughter, Cynthia Montgomery and her husband, Peter, of Monrovia, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; her mother, Mildred Albert of Butler; three sisters, Melinda McKissick, Deborah Bacher and Pamela Shuster, all of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

<B>CRITCHLOW</B> — Friends of Diane S. Critchlow, who died Tuesday, April 17, 2012, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St., Butler, with the Rev. J. David Panther officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity or to the First United Methodist Church, 200 E.
