Butler Police2:55 p.m. Friday — Cheryl L. Dillon, 27, of East Brady was charged with retail theft and Paige R. McMurray, 18, of Butler was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after the pair allegedly tried to steal about $80 worth of items from the K-Mart on Hansen Avenue.9:41 p.m. Thursday — Richard L. McManus, 44, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after he was stopped by police while walking along Hansen Avenue.

Butler Twp. Police2:07 a.m. Friday — Richard M. Crawford, 45, of Butler was charged with defiant trespass and disorderly conduct after he allegedly caused a disturbance in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Grove City Police6:51 p.m. April 19 — Jeffrey P Lopez, 30, of Grove City was charged with DUI/controlled substance, driving on the wrong side of the road and reckless driving after the car he allegedly was driving crashed into a tree on the Grove City College campus near the intersection of East Main and Memorial streets. Lopez suffered unknown injuries and was taken by medical helicopter to an Ohio hospital. Police estimated the damage to the college campus at about $1,000.

State Police, Kittanning7:51 p.m. Wednesday — Spencer E. Collins, 24, of Chicora was arrested under suspicion of DUI following a traffic stop on Route 28 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County. He was charged with speeding.

State Police, Clarion9:40 a.m. Friday — Robert Pflugh, 47, of Butler and Paul Edwards, 35, of Chicora each were charged with theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespass, conspiracy, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property after they allegedly tried to steal sheet metal from a property in Sligo.
