3:29 p.m. Thursday — Sarah M. Krzewinski, 19, of Allison Park, Allegheny County, was caught allegedly shoplifting $244 in clothing items from the Kmart store in Pullman Square. Krzewinski allegedly put some of the items on under her own clothes while in the dressing room and others into her purse, according to a police report. Police said she is charged with retail theft.

Wednesday — An unknown thief stole a laptop computer from a vehicle parked on Bessemer Avenue in Lyndora. The theft happened Tuesday or Wednesday.Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call police at 724-285-9600. Police, meanwhile, remind residents to avoid storing valuables in their vehicles, and to always lock their unattended vehicles.5 p.m. Tuesday — John L. McClure, 30, of Butler was arrested after store security stopped him for allegedly trying to leave the Walmart in Butler Commons with about $750 in merchandise. Police later learned he was also wanted on a bench warrant. He was arraigned on a charge of retail theft and placed in the Butler County Prison on $5,000 bail.12:35 p.m. Tuesday — Debra Micco, 44, of Butler was caught allegedly shoplifting more than $300 in groceries from the Walmart in Butler Commons. Micco is charged with retail theft.

5:52 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Justin L. Christy, 22, of Grove City struck a deer on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township.
