Stuart A. Frazer
Stuart A. Frazer, 62, of Evans City Road, Butler, died unexpectedly at 5 a.m. Monday shortly after his arrival in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Akron, Ohio, Sept. 6, 1949, Stuart was the son of Phyllis K. Starr Frazer of Chicora and the late Allan S. Frazer.
He was a 1969 graduate of Karns City High School and attended technical school in Pittsburgh. Stuart served in the U.S. Army Reserves. For 37 years, Stuart worked out of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 47 in Butler.
Mr. Frazer was a Protestant. He was a car and sports enthusiast and a Motown music fan. He enjoyed swimming as well as gardening and landscaping around his home. A favorite pastime of Stuart's was his smokehouse and he was well known for his generosity in giving gifts of smoked meats to his friends and coworkers around the holidays.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Brenda A. Frazer; three daughters, Brooke Frazer of Winter Park, Fla., Brittany E. Frazer of Butler and Heather K. Frazer of Butler; a son, Stuart A. Frazer Jr. and his wife, Colby, of Kittanning; a granddaughter, Allyn K. Frazer of Kittanning; a sister, Melissa D. Frazer of Butler; a brother, Todd S. Frazer and his fiance, Mary Jo Geibel, of Butler; a paternal aunt, Mary Marshall of Sarasota, Fla.; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his father, who died in 2008; his maternal grandparents, Keith and Bessie Starr; his paternal grandparents, David and Mabel Frazer; a cousin, David “Herb” Frazer; an aunt, Esther Frazer Hays and her husband, Henry; and uncles, Howard Wolfgong and Arnold Frazer.

Frazer, who died Monday, April 30, 2012, will be received at the <B>Hile Funeral Home of Chicora</B>, 339 Chicora Fenelton Road, Chicora, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Joseph Boomhower, pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Chicora, officiating.
