Sybil L. Vinroe

Sybil L. Vinroe, 93, formerly of the Arbor Apartments, Butler, passed away at 7:15 a.m. Thursday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Oct. 20, 1918, in her family home in Butler Township to the late Elemuel Snyder and Harriet Hilliard Snyder.

Mrs. Vinroe was a sales clerk at Kmart for 14 years, retiring in April 1981. Previously, she worked for 13 years at Butler Stamping. She was a former member of the Oak Hills Christian Church.

Mrs. Vinroe is survived by three granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; one step-grandson; two step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eugene Vinroe, who passed away March 14, 1962; one son, Robert Eugene Vinroe; two sisters; four brothers; and one great-grandson.

VINROE — Friends of Sybil L. Vinroe, who passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012, will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the

Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be immediately following at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Robert C.
