James Gregory “Jim” Fabert, 73, of Mars passed away Friday after a prolonged illness.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Patty” Fabert. He was the beloved father of daughter Jaime (Dan) Doherty of Mars, and son Greg (Shannon) Fabert of Burlington, Ky.

Jim was a graduate of Ambridge High School, Beaver County, and Montana State University.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, honorably discharged.

He was a retired warehouse manager at Thomas & Betts, Reznor, Mercer, Pa.

<B>FABERT</B> — Friends of James Gregory “Jim” Fabert, who passed away Friday, May 4, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at <B>DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY</B>, 2678 Rochester Road. 724-772-8800. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the SS. John & Paul Church, 2586 Wexford Bayne Road, Sewickley, Pa. 15143. Interment will follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, 922 Sunflower Road, Rochester, Pa. 15074.
