Anne Prokop Fedokovitz, 86, of Butler died Saturday morning at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born Nov. 25, 1925, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Hadvab) Prokop.

Anne was a cashier for the Thrift Drug Store in Butler, retiring after 18 years. She also worked at Montgomery Ward and during World War II she worked in the Shell Shop at Pullman Standard.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and the St. John's bowling league, was a former member of the St. John's Ladies Guild, was a 50-year member of the Highfield Women's Club, and enjoyed cooking, sewing, watching cooking shows and gardening.

Surviving are her two sons, Roger P. and Nancy Fedokovitz of Butler; and Douglas M. Fedokovitz of Jersey City, N.J.; two daughters, Paula and Albert E. Worsley, III of Meridian and Cindy and Jim Walker of Butler; one son-in-law, Ronald Hume of Meridian; 10 grandchildren, Lisa Foringer, R.J. Hume, Jim Worsley, Bryan Worsley, Tracy Worsley Rose, Terry Fedokovitz, Eric Fedokovitz, Corey Walker, Lindsay Walker and Makenzie Walker; 10 great-grandchildren, Ryan and Justin Foringer, Jenna and Carter Worsley, Regan and Parker Worsley, Alyssa and Madison Rose and Steven and Dylan Fedokovitz; two great-great-granddaughters, Danielle and Gabrielle Foringer; and two sisters, Mary Vieira of Arlington, Va. and Irene Zelinka of Lyndora.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Fedokovitz, who she married Aug. 27, 1944, at the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and who died Feb. 9, 2004; a daughter, Carol Hume; one sister, Elizabeth Prokop; and one brother, John Prokop.

<B>FEDOKOVITZ </B>— Friends of Anne Prokop Fedokovitz, who died Saturday, May 12, 2012, will be received at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 105 Kohler Ave., Lyndora. The Rev. Robert Oravetz, pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.Parastas services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 105 Kohler Ave., Lyndora PA 16045.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
