Ronald Paul White

Ron White

Ronald Paul White of Stuarts Draft, Va., formerly of Meridian, passed away Sunday at Augusta Hospital in Virginia.

Born March 20, 1943, he was the son of the late David B. White and the late Mary B. White.

He was retired from Yellow Freight. Ronald also drove for Wayne Sell Trucking and Lenzner Bus Lines. Ron was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam and served three tours in-country.

Surviving are his wife, Colleen White; daughters, Tai May White of Stuarts Draft, Va., Debbie Knight of Harrisville and Tammy Considine of Grove City; son, David Tack of Grove City; brother, Raymond White of Sarasota, Fla.; sister, Margaret A. Tack of Butler; and four grandchildren, Ashley Kellogg, Trenton Knight, Cole Knight and Katie Considine.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Douthett of Lewisburg, Fla., and his former wife, Faye Adams of Slippery Rock.

WHITE — A memorial service for Ronald Paul White, who passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012, will be at the Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road, Butler, at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic officiating.
