Findley Quay Morrow
Findley Quay Morrow, 76, of Karns City passed away at 11:09 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital after suffering a heart seizure.
He was born Aug. 16, 1935, in Concord Township. He was the son of the late Herbert Matthew Morrow and the late Violet L. Black Morrow. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Chicora. He retired after 46 years as a foreman at Penreco. He was an avid sports fan of all of the Pittsburgh sports teams.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene Morrow; his daughter, Terri Jo Patterson of Butler; his three sons, Jeffrey Morrow of Chicora, Douglas Morrow of Karns City and Kent Morrow of Butler; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Rachel Linamen of Bruin; and several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two stepsons, Clifton Wood of Chicora and David Wood of Fairview; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.
MORROW — Friends of Findley Quay Morrow, who passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, will be received at the William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services on Sunday. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Kevin Channel officiating.A private burial will be in the Concord Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his memory to the Zion Lutheran Church, 266 Zion Church Road, Chicora, PA 16025.
