Frets Latulola

Frets Latulola, 62, of Butler passed away at 9:26 a.m. Tuesday in the emergency room at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 23, 1950, in Posso Slulteng, Indonesia, to the late Abinadab Latulola and Getruida Dewa Latulola.

Mr. Latulola was a member of the North Street Christian Church. He was a steel inspector for Armco, now AK Steel, retiring on Nov. 10, 2006. Mr. Latulola enjoyed soccer, volleyball, hunting and watching movies. He was in the Indonesian Military Police during peace time.

Mr. Latulola is survived by his wife, Rita, who he married on June 24, 2004; two sons, Robby Latulola of Pittsburgh and Alex Latulola of Butler; three daughters, Brigitt B. Maukar of Butler, Kimberly Syam of Pittsburgh and Marylyn Maukar of Manado, Indonesia; two step-sons, Gary Kline of Butler and Grivin Maukar of Manado, Indonesia; eight grandchildren; one brother, Yattet Latulola of Posso, Indonesia; one sister, Enor Latulola of Posso, Indonesia; five nieces; and four nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

LATULOLA — A memorial service for Frets Latulola, who passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the North Street Christian Church, 220 W. North St., Butler, with Pastor Robert Huber of the North Street Christian Church officiating.Donations in his memory may be made payable to the North Street Christian Church to help defray funeral and travel costs.
