Edward D. Moore, 74, of Emsworth, Allegheny County passed away Wednesday.

He was born in Pittsburgh and served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne. He was a bagpiper.

He was the beloved husband of Betty Lou (Koerbel) and the late Helen (Schmitzer) Moore; father of Marie (Art) Pallan, Colleen Parker, Heather (Jeff) Shoup, Bonnie Moore and Edward (Bete) Moore; stepfather of Jeff (Lisa) Preininger and Louayne (Greg) Winslow; grandfather of nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and brother of the late Thurl Moore and Marion Dittmar.

MOORE — Friends of Edward D. Moore, who passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, 3552 California Ave. at Davis Ave., Pittsburgh.The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Brighton Heights Lutheran Church, 3830 California Ave., Pittsburgh.
