Robert A. Rodgers
Robert A. Rodgers, 86, of Sugarcreek Township, passed away Tuesday at Kittanning Care Center.
He was born May 14, 1926, on the farm in Sugarcreek Township, to John B. Rodgers and Mary Edith (Allott) Rodgers.
He was a lifelong dairy farmer at his family farm in Sugarcreek Township. He was a member of the Sherrett Methodist Church. He enjoyed farming and hunting.
He is survived by his sons, Roy (Debra) Rodgers and James Rodgers, both of Sugarcreek Township; daughter, Shirley Rodgers of Sugarcreek Township; six grandchildren, Jodie Rodgers and her friend, Dave Yeager, Rebecca (Brandon) Northime, William (Mylissa) Rodgers, Kathy Rodgers and Melissa and Jace Ebbitt; and two great-grandchildren, Bobby and Jessica Rodgers.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther Grace (McNutt) Rodgers on Dec. 7, 1998; his brother, Kenneth Rodgers; and two sisters, Hazel Bernard and Eleanor Allaman.
RODGERS — Friends of Robert A. Rodgers, who passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, 832 East Brady Road, Cowansville.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev.
