SAXONBURG — District Judge Sue Haggerty recently heard these cases filed by Penn Township police:

Mark Gubanic, 52, of Pittsburgh waived to court charges of driving under the influence, filed June 18.

Zachery Harnish, 27, of Williamsport, Md., waived to court charges of simple assault, harassment, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, filed July 13.

SLIPPERY ROCK — District Judge Tim Shaffer recently heard these cases:John E. Crellin, 24, of Slippery Rock waived to court two counts of possessing with intent to deliver a controlled substance and a charge of intent to possess a controlled substance, filed May 1 by the Butler County Drug Task Force.Cody A. Frey, 20, of Mercer waived to court charges of driving under the influence, underage drinking, driving without insurance, disregarding traffic lanes, driving at an unsafe speed and careless driving, filed June 25 by state police.Robert V. Hairhoger, 21, of Slippery Rock waived to court two counts each of impersonating a public servant and displaying improper lights, filed June 6 by state police.Kristopher M. Ion, 20, of Harmony was held for court on charges of simple assault and harassment, filed May 8 by state police.David P. McGinty, 51, of Slippery Rock waived to court charges of DUI, disregarding traffic lanes, hit-and-run and failing to notify police immediately after an accident, filed May 25 by state police.Nicholas W. Pierce, 49, of Portersville was held for court on charges of simple assault and harassment, filed May 14 by state police.Joseph G. Potts, 41, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving at an unsafe speed, failing to keep right and disregarding traffic lanes, filed March 24 by state police.Kody A. Sarnese, 25, of Portersville waived to court a charge of theft, filed June 6 by state police.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Dale L. Ellenberger, 46, of Karns City waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregarding traffic lanes, careless driving and not wearing a seat belt, filed May 10.Kenneth L. Fleeger, 50, of Chicora waived to court charges of terroristic threats and reckless endangerment, filed April 29.James R. Kriebel, 19, of Butler waived to court charges of burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, trespass, theft and receiving stolen property, filed Jan. 15.Steven E. Macklin, 47, of Butler waived to court charges of simple assault and harassment, filled July 7.Michael D. Mohn Sr., 48, of Butler was held for court on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, filed May 16.Christopher M. Rusch, 28, of Chicora waived to court charges of deceptive business practices, theft by deception, theft by failing to make required disposition of funds, and three counts of violating the state automotive dealership law, filed Nov. 14.

BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O’Donnell heard this case:Ryan C.P. Mullen, 26 of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed April 24 by Butler Township police. He was sentenced to pay $519 in fines and court costs.
