HERMITAGE — Bridget Merten of Saxonburg shot an 81 to win the girls 14-15 division in the Kings Restaurants Junior Golf Tournament tour at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course Thursday.

ROUND ROCK, Tex. — Seneca Valley graduate Zach Jackson allowed two runs and six hits over 7 2-3 innings to lead the Round Rock Express, the Class AAA affiliate of the Texas Rangers, to a 3-2 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes Thursday.Jackson fanned five batters and allowed just one walk. He improved his record to 4-12 with a 4.81 ERA.
