Sandra R. Vitina
Sandra R. Vitina, 67, of Sarver, Buffalo Township, died Wednesday afternoon at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born in Norfolk, Va., on Jan. 31, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Paul James and Donna Marion Weitzel Vitina.
She was a graduate of Wilkinsburg High School. Sandra had been a deli clerk at the Seven Fields Giant Eagle and was a social member of the Mars V.F.W.
She attended Glade Run Presbyterian Church in Middlesex Township.
Surviving are her son, Timothy Worsen of Sarver; her daughter, Teresa Worsen Pugliese of Valencia; her granddaughters, Delaney Butzine and Anastacia Ellis; and her great-granddaughter, Allie Zedak. She was the sister of Pete Vitina of Jeannette and Donna Gray of Vandergrift. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Thomas L. Worsen, who died Nov. 13, 2011, and a brother-in-law, Wayne Gray.
VITINA — Friends of Sandra R. Vitina, who died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, are invited to a memorial service at Glade Run Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road, Valencia, Pa. 16059, at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012. Friends will be greeted after the service in Heritage Hall of the church. The Rev. Greg Wiest, pastor, will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made to the church.
