Patricia E. Zelenski, 67, of Karns City, formerly of Butler, passed away Monday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

She was born in Pittsburgh, Sept. 25, 1944, and was the daughter of the late Edward Bittner Sr. and Anne Stark Bittner.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are one son, Thomas E. Zelenski Jr. and his wife, Kelly, of Karns City; one daughter, Marie Rodgers and her husband, Paul, of Herman; one brother, Edward Bittner Jr. and his wife, Gina, of Charleroi; four sisters, Mary Anne O’Connor and her husband, Thomas A., of Hampton Township, Peggy Kamisol and her husband, Robert, of North Carolina, Kathy O’Hara and her husband, John, of Burgettstown, Pa., and Renie Klein and her husband, John, of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Keith Anthony Jr. of Butler, Amber Myers and her husband, Aaron, of Butler and Nathan Anthony of Butler; and two great-grandchildren, Logan Myers and Layla Colsey, both of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Zelenski Sr., who passed away in 1992; one daughter, Tammie Zelenski, who passed away in 1989; one grandson, Jason Anthony, who passed away in 1985; and one sister, Susan Stanek, who passed away in 2012.

ZELENSKI — Friends of Patricia E. Zelenski of Karns City, formerly of Butler, who passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, will be received in the Martin Funeral Home, Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Thursday.

The burial will be in the Saint Michael Cemetery.

The Bereavement Group of the Saint Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church will meet at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Wednesday to conduct a scriptural wake service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
