Billie A. Kerr, 55, of Butler passed away Monday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 31, 1956, in Sandwich, Mass., to the late Robert P. Lawhead and Sally A. McConnell Lawhead.

Billie was a nurse’s aide at the Chicora Medical Center. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church and loved being with her family and friends.

Billie is survived by one son, Travis N. Riesmeyer, and one daughter, Amber J. Riesmeyer, both of Butler; five sisters, Dot K. Imhof, Kris L. Stewart and Robin L. Thompson, all of Butler, Kim S. Piersol of New Castle and Ginny L. Melik of Freeport, Ill.; and one brother, Bob P. Lawhead of Butler.

KERR — There will be no public visitation for Billie A. Kerr, who passed away Monday, July 16, 2012. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 771 Mercer Road, Butler, with Pastor John Barkley officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 107 Sunnyview Circle, Butler, PA 16001.
