Marine Corps Pvt. Kevin Bezier, son of Donna and Jeffery Bezier of Evans City, earned the title of U.S. Marine after graduating from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

U.S. Air Force Airman Michael Panza graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Panza is the son of Catherine Panza of Pittsburgh and Michael Panza of West Sunbury.

He is a 2009 graduate of North Hills High School.
