Ruth V. Weigel Ketterer, 91, of Zelienople, passed away Wednesday in the comfort of her home.

Born Sept. 27, 1920, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Bertha Weigel.

She is survived by her daughter, Judith “Judy” Eckenrode of Zelienople; three grandchildren, Lori Ruda, Tami Eckenrode-Felker and Kevin Eckenrode; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy L. Ketterer; grandson, Keith Eckenrode; three brothers; and three sisters.
