Robin E. Scott
Robin E. Scott, 46, of Karns City passed away at 6:38 p.m. Monday at UPMC Montefiore.
She was born Oct. 29, 1965, in Butler to the late Raymond Francis Schuffert and Janice Louise (Welker) Schuffert Myers.
Robin was a graduate of Butler High School. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Lenape Tech. She worked as a LPN at VA Butler Healthcare.
Robin was a member of the Butler Women of the Moose Chapter 260. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Robin is survived by her husband, Garry L. Scott Jr., who she married April 27, 1991; two sons, Christopher Schuffert of North Carolina and Dustin Schuffert and his fiancée, Lexi Geibel, of East Brady; two daughters, Elayne Scott and her fiancé, Dustin Lindsey, of Butler and Katelyn Scott Walker and her husband, Clinton, of Ford City; four grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Schuffert and his wife, Eileen, and Dale Schuffert and his wife, Brenda, both of North Carolina; two sisters, Kathleen Zang and her husband, Richard, of Butler and Tammi Wolfe and her husband, Charles, of North Carolina; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Ralph Myers; her grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
SCOTT — Friends of Robin E. Scott, who passed away Monday, July 30, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor David Maitland of the First Baptist Church, who is the uncle of the deceased, officiating.
