Robert W. Clark
Robert W. Clark, 92, passed away Friday at the Passavant Retirement Community, Zelienople.
Born July 13, 1920, in Beverly, Mass., he was the son of the late Lawrence and Dorothy (Maxner) Clark.
Robert was a 1938 graduate of Beverly High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired as a master sergeant.
He was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Portersville. During his free time, Robert enjoyed cross-stitching and volunteering at the veterans hospital in Pittsburgh and at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in the audiology department, which specializes in newborn hearing screening.
Robert is survived by his two children, Cheryl Clark Fiore and her husband, Max, of Minnesota, and Robert W. Clark and his wife, Peggy, of Ohio; his two grandsons, Rob Clark and his fiancée, Kim Novick, and Brent Clark; his two sisters-in-law, Peg Stickel and Patty Stickel, and many nieces and nephews.
The Clark family would like to extend a special thank you to Robert's nieces, Sally and Kim, and his nephew, Brad.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sylva E. (Stickel) Clark, who passed away on Dec. 23, 2007, and his sister, Constance LeVesque.
CLARK— The family of Robert W. Clark, who died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, will welcome friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church of Portersville, 1297 Perry Highway, Portersville, with the Rev. Dana Opp officiating.
