Ruth M. Lefever, 90, of Valencia passed away Saturday at the Saxony Health Center.

Born Jan. 10, 1922, in Glenshaw, she was the daughter of Frank and Rose Schessler Grieneisen.

Ruth was a homemaker. She attended the Clinton United Presbyterian Church, and she was a member of the Tri-State Country Music Association.

Surviving are her sons, Lyle R. (Nance) Lefever of Lexington, Ohio, and Charles (Val) Lefever of Valencia; her daughters, Carolyn (Ronald) Graham of Butler, Evelyn (John) Robbins of Las Vegas, Lucinda (Dan) Kelly of Prospect and Sharon Lefever of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sisters, Elizabeth Barngrover, Alice Armany and Imelda Schaffer, all of Pittsburgh; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lyle Lefever Jr., who died Oct. 5, 2006; one daughter, Dona Rae Lefever; three brothers, Richard, Charles and William Grieneisen; and five sisters, Genevieve Hibbs, Olivia Huber, Dorothy Hack, Mary Jane Gallo and Virginia Greenwald.

LEFEVER — Friends of Ruth M. Lefever, who died Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, will be received at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jason Sinagra officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
