Carl E. Buzard Jr., 53, of Seaman, Ohio, formerly of Karns City, passed away Aug. 22 after losing a battle with cancer.

Born in Karns City, Nov. 7, 1958, he was the son of Carl E. Sr. and Dixie Lee Dittmer Buzard. At the time of his passing, he was survived by both parents.

Carl graduated from Karns City High School and served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by two daughters, Erica (Joshua) Peabody of Seaman, Ohio, and Nicole Gardin of Baton Rouge, La; and a number of grandchildren. He also is survived by four sisters, Teresa Colman of Butler, Sandy “Jeannie” (Dan) Black of Hilliards, Carla Sue (Walt) Cotherman of St. Petersburg and Christine Cubbison of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
