George E. Scott Sr.
George E. Scott Sr., 64, of Buffalo Township died Monday at UPMC-Passavant Cranberry, Cranberry Township.
Son of the late Wallace and Helen (Berthold) Scott, George was the beloved husband of Linda (Greer) Scott for more than 41 years.
He had been a bus driver with A.J. Myers and Sons since 1984. George loved NHRA Racing, fishing and college football. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Linda (Greer) Scott of Sarver; son, George E. Scott Jr. and his wife, Paula, of Cabot; daughter, Helen L. Comperatore and her husband, Corey, of Sarver; four grandchildren, Allyson Comperatore, Kaylee Comperatore, Reese Scott and Rodney Scott; and his brother, Richard L. Scott of Pittsburgh.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Scott.
SCOTT — Visitation for George E. Scott Sr., who died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Herbert R. King, Jr. Funeral Home, 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park.
