Butler High School's fall musical is “Schoolhouse Rock Live!” based on an idea by David McCall and the educational television series created by George Newall and Tom Yohe. “Schoolhouse Rock” was an Emmy Award-winning 1970s Saturday morning cartoon series that taught history, grammar and math through clever, tuneful songs. The musical will go on at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 and 17 in the Butler Senior High School auditorium. Tickets are $5 and available at May's Music Shoppe, 247 E. Jefferson St., or at the door.

Portersville Christian School fine arts boosters will present the stage version of “The Pink Panther Strikes Again” at 7 p.m. Nov. 15, 16 and 17 at the school, 343 E. Portersville Road. Based on the film classic starring Peter Sellers as Inspector Clouseau, this stage version opens with Paul Dreyfus, Clouseau's long-suffering boss who has “gone over the edge,” holding the world ransom with the ultimate weapon, the doomsday machine. Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for college students with ID, $5 for students, and free for children 5 and younger. Butler Little Theatre presents “It's a Wonderful Life — A Live Radio Play” Nov. 23 to Dec. 1 at the theater at One Howard St. Curtain is at 8:15 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Pittsburgh Public Theater hosts the Pittsburgh premiere of “Good People,” the Tony-nominated play set in contemporary Boston, through Dec. 9 at the O’Reilly Theater, 621 Penn Ave. Times are 7 p.m. Tuesdays, 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays; as well as 2 p.m. Saturdays and 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays, with some exceptions.
