• SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company and Rescue Team’s annual Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the fire station, 162 Elm St.
• FRANKLIN TWP — Butler After Five Women’s Connection, Holiday Bazaar at The Atrium, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Christian school to hold food drivePORTERSVILLE — Portersville Christian School is holding a food drive to benefit the Portersville Food Pantry.The food drive is sponsored by the PCS Student Council.In addition to canned goods and nonperishable food items, the food pantry is in need of toilet paper, dish soap, stuffing mixes and baking items including flour, sugar, pie fillings and pie crust mix.Area residents who would like to donate items for the food pantry may drop them off from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily until Thursday at the school office, 343 E. Fund set up to benefit newbornA fund has been set up at First National Bank for the medical expenses of Asher Lutsko, the newborn son of David and Colleen Lutsko of Monaca. Colleen Lutsko is a former Prospect resident.Asher was born Nov. 3 with a hole in his diaphragm and misplaced internal organs.Donations marked “Benefit Asher Lutsko” can be mailed or dropped off at any First National Bank branch.Potential donors can also visit Asher Lutsko’s Facebook page to find a donate button.
SRU group will collect diapersPro Life-Slippery Rock University will be collecting donations of diapers and clothing from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Giant Eagle on Grove City Road.Donations will be donated to the Alpha Omega Center and will be distributed to local families with young children.
