Evelyn 'Toots' Goubeaud Slingluff
Evelyn “Toots” Goubeaud Slingluff, 84, of Baden, formerly of Evans City, passed away Thursday morning at Friendship Ridge, Beaver.
Born in Cranberry Township, Jan. 12, 1928, she was the daughter of Fred L. and Florence Easton Goubeaud.
Evelyn was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, Baden.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary of Ambridge.
Toots was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Slingluff on Sept. 2, 2006; a sister, Ruth Lantz; a brother, Ralph Goubeaud; and a great-grandson, Isaiah Brucker.
Surviving are two sons, Robert Slingluff Jr. of Baden and Terry Slingluff of Venus, Pa.; four grandchildren, Jamie, Christi, Jennifer and Aaron; six great-grandchildren, Morgan, Noah, Mackenna, Khloe, Isaac and Nevaeh; and a special companion, Jessica, who did extra little things.
The family would like to thank the staff of Friendship Ridge and Good Samaritan Hospice for the outstanding care she received.
SLINGLUFF — Friends and relatives of Evelyn “Toots” Goubeaud Slingluff, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, will be received at the A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
