Russell Herbert Huber
Russell Herbert Huber, 85, of Butler passed away Thursday at his home.
He was born Dec. 1, 1926, in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Victor H. Huber and Dorothy T. (Lorence) Huber.
Russ attended the Thorncreek United Methodist Church. He was an accomplished organist and musician. He loved decorating for the holidays and loved telling jokes.
Surviving are his wife, Lois Lawson Conrad of Butler; a daughter, Sherri (Kenneth) Phillips of Culpepper, Va.; a son, Russell H. Huber II of Monroeville; stepchildren, Debra K. (Craig) Luke of Wilmore, Ky., Raymond E. Lawson of Channelview, Texas, Susan D. (Richard) Black of Butler, Tammie L. (Roger) Laughner of Butler, Randall L. Lawson of Sterling, Colo., and Anne Marie (Steve) Farley of Laporte, Texas; 15 stepgrandchildren; 18 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Duffy of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
HUBER — Friends of Russell Herbert Huber, who passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Kurt Knobel officiating.
