Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 Main St., rear, Saxonburg, hosts its annual members themed exhibit “Governing Bodies” through Dec. 30. Many of the artists have stepped out of their comfort zones for this show. For example, jewelry makers are offering drawings, sculptors are exhibiting printmaking, and fiber artists are showing paintings. Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents works by New York-based contemporary artist Cory Arcangel through Jan. 27. Best known for his modified versions of obsolete video games, Arcangel employs ready made digital technology as his primary medium. “Inventing the Modern World,” which showcases decorative art and design innovations from World's Fairs, continues through Feb. 24.
