Mary E. Weichey
Mary E. Weichey, 66, of Butler passed away Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit.
She was born in Butler, on Sept. 25, 1946, and was the daughter of Genevieve M. Spohn Moore and the late John L. Moore.
She worked at various jobs, but her greatest love was caring for her grandchildren, Alec and Austen, and her nieces, Jenna and Samantha.
She was a member of the Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
Mary is survived by her husband, Zane J. Weichey of Butler, who she married Sept. 25, 2002; mother, Genevieve M. Moore of Butler; two sons, Rob Damico and his wife, Crystal, of Butler and Don Damico of Butler; two grandsons, Alec and Austen Damico of Butler; one godchild, Shannen Capriotti and her daughters, Jenna and Samantha, of Butler; three brothers, John Moore and his wife, Audrey, of Butler, Richard Moore of Butler and Alfie Moore of Tennessee; four sisters, Dori Shook and her husband, Mike, of Butler, Margie Fogle of Tennessee, Karen Fitzpatrick and her husband, Rick, of Butler and Elaine Salkeld and her husband, Ron, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John L. Moore, in 2001.
