Darla Dorene Sarvey Carothers, 44, of Hilliards passed away Thursday at her home.

She was born March 28, 1968, in Natrona Heights, and was the daughter of Kenneth and Donna Queen Sarvey.

She was a 1986 Butler High School graduate.

She enjoyed taking pictures, traveling and taking nature walks. She loved her cats, Minnie, Tazzy and Kitty.

She is survived by her husband, Dwayn P. Carothers, who she married May 15, 1993; daughter, Ashley Carothers at home; her parents of Butler; one brother, Brian (Stephanie) Sarvey of Renfrew; mother-in-law, Nancy L. Banner of Prospect; maternal grandmother, Hannah Stiver of West Sunbury; brother-in-law, Jonathan Carothers of Laporte, Ind.; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

CAROTHERS — Visitation for Darla Dorene Sarvey Carothers, who passed away Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Edward L. Raisley Funeral Home, 387 Main St., Prospect.A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Jacob Langbon of the Fellowship Baptist Church, Emlenton.
