2:15 a.m. Sunday — Jaecey Comunale, 21, of Summit Township was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her car crashed into a parked car at North McKean and East Brady streets.A breath test showed Comunale's blood-alcohol level at 0.157 percent, according to a police report, nearly double the 0.08 percent level considered intoxicated under state law. In addition to DUI, she was cited for careless driving.

2:55 p.m. Sunday — One person was hurt in a two-vehicle accident in Slippery Rock Township. The crash happened when a sport utility vehicle driven by Debra R. Collins, 58, of Bayonne, N.J., and a car driven by Travis C. Kovalovsky, 23, of Ford City, Armstrong County, collided at Route 8 and Franklin Road.Collins, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. Police said she was cited for a stop sign violation.9:30 a.m. Sunday — Carol G. Cratty, 52, of Slippery Rock was hurt when the car he was driving collided with a minivan on South Main Street just north of Route 173 in Slippery Rock. Cratty, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.The other, Donald W. Bertozzi, 47, of Slippery Rock, was cited for improperly entering the road from a driveway, according to a police report.8:25 a.m. Sunday — A Clarion County woman was injured when she lost control of her car and struck a guardrail on Route 38 at Duke Lane in Allegheny Township. The car, driven by Carrie D. Deeds, 42, of Knox traveled across both lanes and ended partially in a yard.Deeds, who was not wearing a seat belt, was taken to Clarion Hospital with moderate injuries. Police said she was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Sunday — Someone slashed the tires and broke the windshield of a man's vehicle at his Lakeview Drive home in Center Township. Damage was estimated at $750. The vandalism happened between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.2:45 a.m. Saturday — An SUV driven by Sarah E. Lawrie, 21, of Aurora, Ohio, struck a guardrail on snow-covered North Main Street Extension just west of Pine Drive in Center Township. Police said Lawrie was cited for driving too fast for conditions.1:20 a.m. Saturday — Michael T. Hillwig, 24, of Karns City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car struck a wooden fence and mailbox before hitting a house in the 100 block of Chicora road in Summit Township.No injuries were reported. Police said that Hillwig, in addition to DUI, is charged with possession of small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

3:50 p.m. Friday — Icy conditions were was blamed for three crashes less than 20 minutes apart on Interstate 80 in Wolf Creek Township.The first accident happened when Vincent D. Asseta, 48, of St. Mary’s, Elk County, lost control of his sport utility vehicle and slid sideways into a tree just east of Centertown Road.Two minutes later and only 100 yards away, a pickup truck driven by Justin J. Bandurski, 29, of Glenshaw, Allegheny County, spun out and struck an embankment.At 4:18 p.m., Hanna M. Ploss, 23, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, was hurt when the car she was driving hit a tree skidding off the highway. Ploss, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Grove City Medical Center with moderate injuries.3:05 p.m. Thursday — Amber L. Koprivnak, 32, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after her SUV struck and sheared off a utility pole along South Center Street Extension just west of North Liberty Street in Pine Township. Koprivnak, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered minor injuries.
