Lillian Ranalli

Lillian V. Ranalli, 89, of Cranberry Township died Monday afternoon at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Pittsburgh on Sept. 21, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Fischer Fleming.

A homemaker, Mrs. Ranalli was a member of the St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church in Cranberry Township and was a former member of the St. Ferdinand’s Roman Catholic Church.

Surviving are five daughters, Rosalie Tritsch (David) of Phoenix, Ariz., Anne Squire (Greg) of Valencia, Lillian Graber (David) of Latrobe, Angela Ranalli of Cranberry Township and Juliann Rainford (Richard) of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sons, Nicklas Ranalli (E. Kathleen) and Alfonse Ranalli (Mary Pat), both of Valencia; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonse F. Ranalli, who she married on Nov. 22, 1945, and who died on Oct. 4, 2002; her sister, Ellen Wirth; and her brother, Charles Fleming.

RANALLI — Friends of Lillian V. Ranalli, who died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, will be received at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.A Mass of Christian burial will be in the St. Kilian Roman Catholic Church, corner of Clark and Cherry streets, Mars, at 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Charles Bober, pastor, officiating.
