Theresa DePastino, 99, formerly of Wilkinsburg, died on Wednesday.

She was the daughter of the late Pietro and Petronilla Mancuso, the sole survivor of nine brothers and sisters and the beloved wife of the late Victor F. DePastino.

Theresa is survived by her son, Victor S. DePastino and her daughter-in-law, Eileen; her son, Raymond DePastino; grandson, Raymond DePastino Jr.; granddaughter, Clair (Rudy) Ormsby; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa was a beloved matriarch and queen of the kitchen. She lived a full and happy life centered in home, family and church. She will be forever in our hearts.

DEPASTINO — Theresa DePastino died on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until a blessing service at 1 p.m. Monday in Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel, 7450 Saltsburg Road at Universal Road, Penn Hills.A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Vincentian Home on Perrymont Drive.The family acknowledges with deep gratitude the Vincentian Spirit that cared for Theresa with loving hands and hearts during her final 14 months and suggests memorial gifts be made to the Vincentian Home, 8100 McKnight Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
