Doreen K. Whittle Kline

Kline

Doreen K. Whittle Kline of Fombell passed to our Lord on Monday.

Doreen was born Jan. 13, 1938, in New Brighton and raised on Marion Hill by her grandmother, E. Blanche Whittle.

She worked many years as a home health care provider before retiring to enjoy her hobbies of ballroom dancing, traveling and visiting with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Doreen Holsinger Lutz, and her husband, Ronald H. Holsinger.

Mourning her loss are her husband of 29 years, Richard C. Kline of Fombell; her children, Jo A. Alfaro, retired Lt. Col. USAF (Beato) of Freeburg, Ill., Ronald B. Altsman of Sumter, S.C., Dorette K. Holsinger of Fombell, Deborah K. Main of Freedom, Judy (Ken) Bingle of Ellwood City and Patrick E. Holsinger of Ellwood City; and a stepson, Jeffrey Kline of Fombell. Also surviving are Doreen’s brother and sister, Ralph (Janice) Weil and Ruth (Richard) Mowers of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Doreen was “Mimmy” to her nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Nothing made Doreen happier than to be surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Trinity Family Practice doctors and staff, the Good Samaritan Hospice staff and her many friends who sent cards and well wishes. We would especially like to thank Mary Alice Tillia and Bill Boots for their friendship and the many delicious meals they provided.
