Patricia Ann Brown of San Antonio, Fla., formerly of Butler, passed away Thursday at Gulfside Regional Hospice following a battle with cancer.

She was born July 26, 1947, in Romney, W.Va., to Robert Calderone and Gladys Butcherine Embroski.

She married Bruce B. Brown on Dec. 4, 1966, at the Epiphany Catholic Church.

She graduated from Moniteau High School in 1965.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce B. Brown of San Antonio, Fla.; two daughters, Kimberly (Brown) Stringer of Springhill, Fla., and Kathy (Robert) Stanley of Seffner, Fla.; one son, Christopher (Stephanie) Brown of Prairieville, La.; her father, Robert Calderone of Hilliards; her mother, Gladys (Michael) Embroski of Butler; one sister, Janet (Robert) McCandless of Hilliards; and five grandchildren, Zachary Brown, Savannah Ehlers, Kayla Stanley, Selena Brown and Sean Stringer.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Howard G. “Butch” Smith Jr.

BROWN — Visitation for Patricia Ann Brown, who died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, will be Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 Highway 301, Dade City, Fla. Funeral services will follow at noon.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
