Helen M. Miller
Helen M. Miller, 93, of Grove City, formerly of Boyers, passed away at her home on Thursday after an extended illness.
Born in Gulf, Pa., on June 15, 1919, she was the daughter of Henry W. Miller and Gertrude J. Myers Miller.
Helen attended Boyers Elementary School and graduated from Grove City High School.
Helen was the supervisor of central supply at the VA Hospital in Butler for 20 years. She also worked at Pullman Supply in Butler, making army ordinances, and at Shell Manufacturing in Butler.
She had been a member of the Boyers United Methodist Church since 1930.
She is survived by her daughter, who she lived with, Judith L. Miller of Grove City. Several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Dorothy Miller, Irene Miller, Hazel Rihel and Laura Farren; and four brothers, Paul W., Arthur E., Howard D. and Harold J. Miller.
MILLER — The family of Helen M. Miller, who died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, will receive friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton St., Clintonville, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral service will take place at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Willard Morse, retired Grace Methodist minister, Grove City. Interment will take place at the Old Annadale Cemetery, Marion Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Marion Township Fire Department, Box 136, Boyers, PA 16020 or to Medi Home Hospice, 612 N. Main St., Butler, PA 16001.
