Leonard B. Anthony

Leonard B. Anthony, 63, of Harrisville passed away peacefully at 4:30 a.m. Saturday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Leonard was born in Natrona Heights on Feb. 18, 1950, to the late Almedia M. (Stull) and Charles L. Anthony.

Lenny had worked for Goodwill, Lifesteps and Golden Opportunity. He enjoyed listening to Elvis, The Beatles and many other groups. He loved to play his guitar, watch the “Wizard of Oz,” “Grease,” and western movies and had an extensive movie collection. He was an avid bird watcher and loved being in the outdoors.

He is survived by five siblings; sister, Charlene (William) Little of Elderton Pa.; four brothers, Charles M. (Bonnie) Anthony of Adrian, Pa., Harrison R. Anthony of Elderton, Jeffrey S. (Debra Boschele) Anthony of Clinton Township and Keith D. (Tracy Armstrong) Anthony of Slippery Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

ANTHONY — Family and friends of Leonard B. Anthony, who passed away Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Redmond Funeral Home 524 High St., Freeport.Funeral services will be in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, and burial will be in the Slate Lick Cemetery, Kittanning.
