U.S. Navy Petty Officer 1st class Matthew Dick, son of Evelyn and Robin Dick of Mars, is assigned to the Navy’s first littoral combat ship, USS Freedom, home ported in San Diego.
Dick is a 2000 graduate of Mars High School.
