PENN TWP — The Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department will have its Tool Bash beginning at noon May 4 at the Butler County Airport.

Tool drawings will be every fifteen minutes between 1 and 6 p.m. Food, beverages, side drawings and 50/50 drawings will be offered through the afternoon. The grand drawing will be at 6 p.m.

Donations sought for rummage saleSAXONBURG — The GFWC Saxonburg District Woman’s Club is planning its annual rummage and bake sale. It will be from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 10 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11 at the Saxonburg VFW on West Main Street. A bargain bag sale will be on May 11.The club will accept donations of clean, usable items from noon to 7 p.m. May 8 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 9.Items may include, but are not limited to, books, linens, home decorations, housewares, home furnishings, accessories, electronics, toys, puzzles, games and crafts.No clothing will be accepted.
