Shirley A. Hart Ludwig
Shirley A. Hart Ludwig, 80, of Middlesex Township, Valencia, died Monday afternoon at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.
She was born in Avalon, Pa., on Sept. 12, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Margaret Badders Hart.
Shirley had been a graphic artists for various studios and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown.
She enjoyed cards, games, square dancing, sewing, puzzles, baking, coffee and especially lighthouses.
Surviving are her husband, William H. Ludwig, who she married on Sept. 24, 1955; two daughters, Darlene Hughey and her husband, Chuck, of Middlesex Township and Patti Casey and her husband, Tom, of Apple Valley, Minn.; her grandchildren, Colleen Hughey Derby and her husband, Todd, Juliann Hughey Shonk and her husband, Adam, and Will and Matt Casey.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Jean McLean.
LUDWIG — Friends of Shirley A. Hart Ludwig, who died Monday, April 8, 2013, will be received at McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, 238 Crowe Ave. Mars, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
