Schmeider

Dorothy I. Schmeider, 89, of Cabot passed away peacefully Friday at home.

She was born Dec. 28, 1923, in Sarver, and was the daughter of Henry and Irene (Schwetizer) Edwards.

She was a housewife. Dorothy was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sarver.

Surviving are her loving children, Paul (Alice) Schmeider of Sarver, John (Susan) Schmeider of Cabot, Judy (Dennis) Shelton of Cabot, Doris McKinney of Cabot and Ray (Pat) Schmeider of Georgia; 14 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Sarah Daniels of Butler and Helen Rowley of Florida.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Schmeider; daughter, Ruth Ann Kammerer; one sister, Joan Cooper; and one brother, Joseph Edwards.

SCHMEIDER — Friends of Dorothy I. Schmeider, who passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Sarver, with the Rev. James F. Neal officiating. Interment will follow in Sarverville Cemetery.
