Wanda R. Brown
Wanda R. Brown, 79, of Butler passed away at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Clay Township, Pa., to the late Lewis L. Grossman and Dorothy E. (McCandless) Grossman.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Unionville United Presbyterian Church. She was an alumna of the Butler Beauty School and was an avid gardener.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Robert K. Brown, who she married June 18. 1955; three sons, Keith E. Brown of Butler, Kevin E. Brown of Pittsburgh and Gregory A. Brown of Butler; four grandchildren; eight sisters, Sara “Sis” Brown, Donna Hoover, Joann Surrena, Nancy Ferguson, Pearl Schlatz, Connie Reeder, Cindy Marshall and Terrie Riddle; five brothers, Harold “Sim” Grossman, Keith “Ron” Grossman, Rick Grossman, Joe Grossman and John “Butch” Grossman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
